The short version

ClockNews has no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising, and no tracking cookies. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal information to use the site.

What our server sees

Like any website, our server receives standard request information when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used only to run and protect the site (for example, troubleshooting errors or blocking abuse) and is not sold or shared.

Third-party services

To show maps, flags, and headlines, ClockNews loads content from a few outside services:

• MapTiler — map tiles for the region and world maps. Your browser requests tiles directly from MapTiler.
• flagcdn.com — country and state flag images, loaded directly by your browser.
• Google News — live headlines are fetched by our server, not your browser, so Google does not receive your information from these requests.

These services may receive your IP address and browser details when your browser contacts them, under their own privacy policies.

Links to newspapers

ClockNews links to newspaper and news websites run by other organizations. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. We aren't responsible for how other sites handle your data.

Children

ClockNews is a general-audience news directory and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
